Scientists in Victoria have today made a shocking discovery.
While running some routine checks on local sewage, researchers stumbled across another virus, that hadn’t yet been formally identified in the science world.
With a fine batch of local sewage in the form of the Australian and Herald Sun newspapers, the team were hoping to discover whether traces of COVID were present, and what that meant for treating the virus going forward.
However, while conducting the tests, scientists unearthed the virus RM85 – which effictively translates to Rupert Murdoch’s media influence.
Although many around the nation have been aware of the virus for quite some time, namely state and federal politicians who seek to manipulate it but in turn get manipulated themselves, this is first time it’s been identified in a scientific sense.
“It’s quite scary, we think this RM85 virus is highly contagious and can lead to a number of brain numbing side affects, including homophobia, xenophobia and sheer hatred of anyone on social security,” said the lead researcher.
“We were actually looking for the COVID intially, but when we stumbled across the new virus we had to do some more research.”
“It’s a virus that really is in its own subcategory I think. And our initial thoughts are that a vaccine is a fair way off, and depends upon one particular thing happening.”
