As the flimsiest of ceasefires hold, geopolitical experts have today confirmed a potential resolution to the recent flare up in the Middle East.

Enoch Alderson from South Betoota Polytechnic’s Humanities Department explained to The Advocate that a sequel to one of Adam Sandler’s lesser known movies, could allow for some reprieve.

“The world is in desperate need of You Don’t Mess With The Zohan 2,” said Enoch.

“We need it now, more than ever.”

For those who aren’t familiar with the filmography of the greatest comedic movie auteur in history, You Don‘t Mess With The Zohan was a seminal classic, that depicted the life and times of an Israeli immigrant in New York.

Known as a crack IDF soldier, Zohan moves to New York to pursue his dream of owning a hair salon – much to the dismay of his conservative parents in Israel.

When he arrives in Israel, the sex icon finds himself dealing with a mini replica of conflict in the Middle East, which he must navigate while trying to win the heart of a Palestinian bombshell and dealing with Palestinians played by Rob Schinder.

Thankfully, the Zohan and his new friends band together to show love to their respective cultures but say no to hatred and violence.

Now, with the Middle East once again on the precipice, Enoch says a sequel is desperately needed.

“I know Adam wants to make proper serious films now, but he’s gotta bring the Zohan back.”

“Maybe Zohan is the hairdresser for a young Palestinian basketball talent who the local basketball team don’t wanna sign because they are run by a Zionist, but then they come together.”

“I don’t know, I’m just spitballing here. I’ll leave to the pros.”
