Some in the industry say it’s an impossibility but one local farmer’s wife says she doesn’t have a single item from popular homewares shop Jumbled in her Lake Betoota living room.
Wendy Dollarhyde, who’s in partnership with her husband Francis out at Greenbow Station via the Lake Betoota Development Road, said even she’s surprised herself.
Both Wendy and Francis spent the past five or so years slowly renovating the station’s original homestead. It now boasts a full acre of gardens and is about to feature in Country Style magazine.
Which makes the claim that not a single item in her living room has come from the Orange e-commerce institution.
“Yeah wow,” said Wendy.
“I thought surely I had something from Jumbled. I’ve stopped there every time I’ve been to Sydney this year. But yeah, looking around the living room now, I can’t see anything. I’ve got Jumbled things in my home, don’t get me wrong, my bedspread I got from Jumbled but yeah,”
“Maybe I should get something today for Australia Post to break in transit for me?”
More to come.
