The nation’s Opposition Leader has gone BANG on the Prime Minister today.
Following the national embarrassment that was the US President bailing on a meeting with Anthony Albanese to try and stop a rogue state with nuclear weapons killing the leader of another nation, Liberal Leader Sussan Ley has not minced her words.
“Anthony had to be more proactive to get that meeting,” explained Sussan Ley, the new Opposition Leader who apparently says she’s keen not to pick up where Peter Dutton left off.
“He should have gone all out.”
“Trump is an erratic customer, Anthony could have appealed to him by making an irreverent move like adding another letter to his name.”
“Chucking another B in Albanese – or even dropping an A in front of Anthony.”
“AAnthony would be boss too haha.”
Sussssan’s comments come as the Australian media continue to rinse the Prime Minister for Trump bailing on him.
The US President was supposed to meet with the PM to discuss AUKUS and trade matters, before bouncing from the G7 to try and make sure Israel doesn’t use all the weapons it sells to them.
While you’d assume trying to prevent WW3 was a good idea, that standing up of Albo has apparently become a national embarrassment.
Anthony Albanese is yet to respond to The Advocate’s request for comment on changing the letters in his name.
