It’s been confirmed that a local woman is going to have an extremely toxic time at her new marketing job, after finally getting a chance to see the office space first time.

“My heart sank when I saw the Corporate Memphis aesthetic everywhere.. God what have I done..” said Sarah Moore (26).

Corporate Memphis, a flat, digital illustration style characterised by exaggerated proportions, and faceless characters, is often used by toxic tech and marketing companies to convey friendliness and diversity.

“You just know the culture at this place is going to be an absolute nightmare when you see that late stage capitalism corporate aesthetic..”

“Its the visual equivalent of girls that say they hate drama but are constantly in the middle of drama” explained Sarah.

The online marketing companies management has defended the visual choice of the office, claiming that their office has and always will be a safe space for all.

“We are a family, that’s always been our motto here” said Jasmine Fenech (44), the companies HR head.

Despite the warm words, Sarah says the presence of bean bags and an endless supply of refrigerated kombucha did little to ease her concerns.

She also noted a suspicious number of motivational posters featuring phrases like “You’re the GOAT” and “Believe, Achieve, Succeed, Slay”

“I just know there’s going to be mandatory fun days and Slack channels called things like #gratitude-gang” she said grimly.
