Minister For Defence Christopher Pyne has boldly thrown his support behind Scott Morrison today by joining the chorus of Coalition MPs who would like to know who fuckin’ tonight.
This follows the intense backlash faced by Prime Minister Morrison regarding his decision to edit and satirise video footage from Parliament House Question Time, by using an explicit hip hop song as the backing track.
Scott Morrison has apologised after the video containing the iconic Fatman Scoop song ‘Be Faithful’ was posted to his Twitter account overnight.
The tweet, posted last night on both Instagram, Facebook and Twitter used the iconic nightclub hit to soundtrack a video of the Liberal Party raising their hands in parliament, as Fatman Scoop sang the “You got a hundred dollar bill, get your hands up!”.
However the extended version of the song also include lyrics such as ‘Who Fucking Tonight?!’ and lots of N-Words.
Morrison has since taken the video down, but some of his Liberal Party allies have come to his defence regardless. With Christopher Pyne MP being the loudest supporter.
“Personally, I find that song to be quite a track” said the Member for Sturt.
“And, I think I join both Mr Morrison and Barnaby, and many many members of the opposition when I say I would also like to know who fuckin’ tonight”
“It’s a fair question and we need to allow room for conversations like this”
