It seems not even his big day can stop Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos from cutting corners, with emerging reports revealing that the DJ is expected to stay on task for 12 hours throughout the ceremony, reception, entrees, speeches, mains and dance floor without a single toilet break.
Bezos is tying the knot with long-term partner Lauren Sanchez in Venice today, in what may be one of the most flagrant displays of wealth in the 21st century.
With a price tag of roughly $116 million AUD, the celebration includes around 250 guests, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates.
It’s estimated that 100 private jets were used to fly guests to the venue.
The wedding was originally set to take place at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, a medieval former religious school in the Cannaregio district.
However, Bezos was forced to relocate the event to a more secluded part of the city following multiple protests from locals.
Though many details have been kept under wraps, The Advocate can confirm that the DJ has been given four water bottles for the day, which he’s allowed to piss in once emptied, and just so long he’s discreet.
