The ‘Greatest Country on Earth’ has lived up to its name once again today, by bombing another sovereign nation in an open declaration of war.
Donald Trump, the man who claimed to be the new anti-war president for America, has bombed the nation of Iran today.
The nation of 90 million people was attacked by the ‘leader of the free world’ after Israel began a barrage earlier this week.
Both Israel and Donald have claimed the bombing of an autonomous country was to stop the manufacture of nuclear weapons.
That bombing (by two countries with nuclear weapons, one of whom is not subject to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty) comes despite American intelligence telling the US President that there is no evidence Iran has or is close to making nuclear weapons.
The United Nations has been cited as another one of the reasons why the two nuclear super powers needed to bomb a city of 10 million innocent people – however that report found no evidence of nuclear weapons but simply that Iran was complying with their inspection processes.
The move from the Anti-War President comes as the most compelling move yet that Donald Trump wants to end America’s forever wars and the trillion dollar military industrial complex that bleeds countries dry and destroys sacrificial lambs that are required to scare the public in the West.
It’s yet to be confirmed whether America and Israel still plan to kill the leader of Iran, or where this dramatic escalation will lead.
It is likely however that the conflict will continue to escalate, and if history is anything to go by, will drag on for years leaving a trail of death and destruction that enriches the special few that benefit from the sale of weapons and lobbying.
