There were violent scenes on the Gold Coast this morning, after a popular Tik Toker made the mistake of shoving a camera in a bloke’s face and asking him how he made his money.

James Hewitt, 24, an Aussie Tiktoker known for his street vox pops, was filming content in the GC when he spotted a bloke sporting several face tatts opening up the door to his lambo.

Having no sense of self preservation, the plucky youngster had no qualms with jogging up to a bloke who looked as though he was fresh out of jail, and asking how he made his coin.

Unbeknownst to James (though it should have been fucking obvious), the bloke he sought out was of the Gold Coast’s most prolific drug dealers, who really didn’t want to be filmed for millions to see.

Chatting to an onlooker who witnessed James getting decked, The Advocate learns that the interaction lasted roughly thirty seconds.

“Yeah I was walking by when I heard the older bloke start swearing and accusing the younger one of being a copper”, says Anthony Kane, 27, who was getting some frozen yoghurt at the time, “starts shouting ‘what the fuck you asking mate!”

“It got ugly pretty fast.”

Hewitt is said to be recovering quickly at the Gold Coast University Hospital, but will be putting a pause on filming content for a while.
