A groundbreaking new study has confirmed what many had long suspected: the kids who used to stab their arms with pacers have, almost without exception, become avid cannabis users.

The study, conducted by CSIRO, tracked a sample group of former primary schoolers who would pretend to shoot up in class, with nearly 80% of them admitting to owning at least one form of weed smoking paraphernalia.

Speaking to one of the researchers, The Advocate also learns that there appears to be a correlation between shooting up with a pacer and having undiagnosed ADHD, as the need to shock and horrify classmates is a sure sign of a dopamine addiction.

“It’s sensation seeking and need to be seen as cool, which are the same traits seen in weed users”, says lead researcher Dr. Hannah Lowell, “it’s also no surprise that a lot of people studied also reported having ‘undiagnosed ADHD.”

“I guess a weed subscription is a lot cheaper than getting an ADHD assessment.”

Lowell says they’re also likely the same kids who shoved all their papers into their binder, and chewed their hoodie strings until they were soaking wet.

“It’s all connected.”

More to come.
