President Donald Trump has made moves to fight the growing international influence of Australian media, singling out Bluey as the most dangerous foreign agitator since Gaddafi.

Posting to Truth Social from his Mar-a-Lago breakfast buffet, the former president announced a sweeping 100 per cent tariff on all foreign film and television content. He made specific reference to that blue cartoon dog who he says is making American children “polite” and “emotionally intelligent.”

“This is a targeted attack on American values,” Trump wrote.

“Foreign countries are bribing Hollywood with tax breaks so they can sneak propaganda into our living rooms. It is sick. They want our children to share toys. Hug their dads. Take turns. Disgusting.”

The announcement has sparked panic in Los Angeles where several mid-tier streaming executives are now scrambling to relocate family-friendly content to Canada.

Meanwhile Australia’s arts minister Tony Burke issued a statement insisting that the government will not back down from doing what we do best, which is make incredibly dark indie films or off-beat comedy features starring the same 10 actors.

“Bluey represents the best of our culture,” Burke said.

“And if Trump thinks a 100 per cent tariff is going to stop Bandit from teaching your kids how to regulate their emotions he has got another thing coming.”

More to come.
