As the internal head hunting begins amongst what’s left of the Liberal Party, a glowing light has appeared.
Shining bright onto the party’ darkest hour, a national hero has kindly offered the Liberals salvation.
Beloved Australian icon Gina Rineheart has kindly taken time out of her busy schedule to implore the Liberals to triple down on what they are doing.
In the wash up from doubling down on culture wars issues and dismissing 50% of the population, Gina has pleaded with the Liberals to go even harder on the Trumpian style politics.
Rineheart pointed to countries like Italy and Hungary with right wing governments that have had success trying to echo the policies of the US leader that has driven the global economy into the ground, saying those countries were “abandoning the myths or untruths of the left” and returning to “common sense and truth”.
The billionaire who inherited all of her wealth from her dad who preached things like the genocide of an entire population, also claimed that the left-wing media did a great job in frightening some within the Liberal party away from Trump style policies.
She didn’t clarify which parts of the ‘left-wing media’, 80% of which is owned by conservative billionaires, was responsible for abandonment.
However, while the nation voted overwhelming against culture wars noise, cuts to the public service, impeding the flexibility of women in the work force and outlandish grand policy promises with no substance behind them, Gina says that is because the Liberals didn’t go hard enough.
The Liberals have yet to respond for comment on their saviour, with allegations they are too busy infighting.
