A rather unlikely assassin has this week provided a local man with a much needed dopamine hit.
Hutch Mansell, played by Bob Odenkirk, was the man responsible for the boost, as part of his role in the new Nobody 2 film.
“Nothing quite like a proper action movie to lighten the load,” laughed local office worker Dale Smith after his latest trip to the movies.
“Big old bucket of popcorn, pure fizzy drink, a few Maltesers and a full noise film on a giant screen is about as good as it gets on a school night,” he laughed.
“Other than Origin, but that’s done for the year.”
“Even the cheese and kisses liked it too,” laughed Dale, who treated his wife to Bob Odenkirk’s finest.
The film in question is the Nobody sequel, which stars Odenkirk juggling the classic dilemma of being an international assassin and a loving but overworked father.
In an attempt to take the family on a much deserved holiday, he of course gets caught up in a world of gunfire, explosions and dramas.
“And god it’s satisfying watching someone just go hell for leather on blokes that have wronged him.”
“Particulalry when he just looks like a regular run of the mill Dale like me,” he laughed.
“It’s like an unassuming or chunky footy player – makes it seem plausible that you could walk in their shoes, you know.”
He then finished the interview by making some weird karate movies, which caused a few looks of amusement on his partner’s face.
More to come.
