A local man has today come to terms with the reality that has set in around him.
Namely the fact that he’s living in mildly European-like conditions for the next few months.
With daylight savings now besetting Betoota, local Heights man Brayden Iosefo has decided to sort himself out.
“Yeah, I got a PlayStation 5,” he laughed to us after trudging home from work in the dark.
“This time of the year is my least favourite, so I needed something to cheer me up haha.”
Kicking off his shoes and firing up his new PS5, Iosefo said he’s off to explore brighter, more exciting world’s for the evening.
“I’m off to the Forbidden West, there’s a bit more going on there” he nodded in reference to the new Horizon game he’s downloaded.
“The girlfriend’s on night shift tonight, so it’s me, Aloy and them machines.”
“She’s out there emptying bedpans and I’m off to rek a few Clamberjaws and some TremorTusks.”
“See, look how much brighter the world is,” he said pointing to his TV.
“I’m going to the gym in the morning from now on, cause I’ve had enough of these dark cold early nights.”
He then politely asked our reporter to leave so he could get down to saving more tribes from the machines.
No more to come.
