A student at the South Betoota Polytechic has given her jaw a workout for the ages today, it can be confirmed.
With her final exam for Business Innovation and Financial Management just hours away, Sophie Simpson has been doing a fair bit of vigorous chewing and foot tapping this morning.
“Yeah, I’ve gone through a bit of chewy,” she laughed.
The type of person who leaves for a party 10 minutes after she was supposed to be there, Sophie says it’s been a stressful 24 hours or so.
“Look, I do my best work when I’m under the pump,” laughed Sophie, who is hours away from developing a cold sore.
“Obviously I could have been a bit more prepared, but adrenaline will get me over the line here,” she continued, peeling off her 2nd piece of Intense Mint chewy for the hour.
“I may have had to cram the subject matter from all the classes I missed, but I only need 36% in this exam to pass the whole subject.”
“And you know what they say, P’s get degrees, especially when you work 3 days a week and have some form of a social life.”
“Don’t let any high achieving try hard tell you otherwise.”
Sophie then peeled off the last piece of chewy in her Intense Mint packet, dropping it into her mouth for another minty kickstart of confidence to get her back on track.
“Anyway, I need to figure out what this Week 6 topic was, so if you wouldn’t mind,” she laughed, sliding her noise cancelling headphones back on.
More to come.
