A local bloke has today proved to his girlfriend that having an extroverted partner can be a massive pain in the ass sometimes, as he yet again went out of his way to embarrass her in public.
Alex Lewisham [27] is reported to have been enjoying a nice meal with his girlfriend Lisa when he felt the unexplainable urge to make her squirm, no doubt prompted by the fact that the entire night had gone so perfectly, it felt like they were dating for the first time again.
Almost forgetting his role in the relationship was to be entirely unpredictable and embarrassing, Alex was quickly reminded of his commitment to annoying Lisa, when the waiter dropped by to enquire about their meal – giving him the perfect opener.
“Just checking in to see if you’d like to order anything else?”
“Oh no I’m so full, thank you”, said Lisa politely, patting her stomach for extra measure.
Giving Lisa a toddler like smile, Alex thanks the waiter before informing him of the occasion. Apparently, it’s Lisa’s birthday!
“You’ve been great mate, thank you”
“Did you know it’s Lisa’s birthday today?”
“28 years young.”
Lisa is in fact 26.
Deflecting a kick he knew was coming from under the table, Alex continues his elaborate lie by stating that they also recently celebrated their anniversary.
“Yeah we don’t go out to dinner much but this is a special occasion.”
“Crazy to think it’s been four years, hey Lis.”
Lisa is said to have been pretty polite as Alex charmed his way into a free bottle of wine, but was seen giving him a very heated glare as soon as the waiter left.
