“Enough PLEASE!”
Alice Knox can’t do it tonight.
She can not for the life of her do another Seth Rogen movie. Not because he isn’t a funny dude, but because she’s managed to see his face more times than she’s seen her own mother this year.
In fact, it’s gotten to the point where she can hear his laugh as she drifts off to sleep.
“HUHUHHUHHUHUHUUHU.”
However, as usual, her boyfriend Tim has quickly made a beeline for the remote and has popped on a movie without bothering to ask if she wanted to watch it. But this time, she’s not having it.
It’s time to move on.
“Why don’t we try something a bit different, I heard The Staircase on BINGE is good”, says Alice, using the same negotiation skills you’d use on a toddler.
“It’s got Colin Firth in it.”
When she’s met with a blank look, Alice explains that he’s the bloke from The Kingsman.
“It’s a true story about a crime writer who was accused of killing his wife.”
“Looks pretty binge worthy.”
Hovering her hand over the remote, a nervous Alice says they can watch Pineapple Express if he’s not into it.
“You will be though, it’s got a lot of Brits in it so you know it’ll be good.”
