A brand new form of small talk with B2B partners has emerged today, born out of the most universally acknowledged pain in the ass type of weather; wind.
Noticing the extreme wind whipping at his highrise windows, accountant Alan Yang (35) shut his window before exclaiming his joy for those rural Australians doing the hard yakka so urban types can sleep tight.
“This’ll be good for our Wind Farmers,” exclaimed Yang to his co-workers, many of which were thinking the exact same things.
“Every little bit helps keep the fluorescent lights on!”
Previously, Yang has been known to proclaim joy for a light drizzle of rain falling in the Betoota CBD as if it has solved the droughts that plague our sunburnt country.
However, in a new green initiative, Yang is now only grateful for the boons that benefit eco-friendly farming such as wind farming.
Due to the existence of easily corrupted conservative politicians, wind farming remains a controversial practice for generating energy, with ex PM Tony Abbott calling them ‘an eyesore’ in the ultimate instance of ‘it-takes-one-to-know-one.’
The controversy is lost on Yang however, who is hoping the day ruining wind flows free into the wind farming communities that rely on the accelerated oxygen like a ship with sails.
