Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime confidante Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a New York jail to face charges that she allegedly recruited women and girls, one as young as 14, for Epstein and other very powerful people to sexually abuse.
Now based in the Brooklyn lock-up, rumours are beginning to circle that Maxwell may have been diagnosed with COVID-19, which has been running rife through the New York prison system.
However, it would seem that a virile dose of coronavirus would be the least of Maxwell’s concerns while held on remand, given the suspicious circumstances around Jeffrey Epstein’s ability to kill himself while under a 24-hour watch.
Ms Maxwell, the daughter of British publishing magnate Robert Maxwell, was the former girlfriend and longtime close associate of Epstein, who apparently killed himself in a Manhattan jail last August while he awaited trial on federal sex trafficking charges that probably would have implicated some very high-profile men that probably would have paid good money for him to no longer be alive.
If someone else was found to be involved in Epstein’s death, it would only prove that some of the people he invited to his island and on to his private jet are powerful enough to never get caught.
And the New York jail holding cells are also far more unsafe than any other part of the city, an issue that Maxwell must now confront as the most wanted women in Washington D.C and Hollywood.
Arriving at the Brooklyn lock up today, Maxwell was quick to raise concerns about her safety, after noticing that the entire prison cell was draped in plastic tarps and her door had been left unlocked for anybody to visit.
Maxwell also felt the need to inquire as to why there was a length of rope left coiled up on the end of her bed and an array of sharp objects in the vicinity.
The inmate was told to be quiet and immediately diagnosed with paranoia by the prison’s medical team, a health issue for which she was then subscribed 100 sleeping tablets and a bottle of gin.
