The Premier of Tasmania has broken protocol this morning and used a rugby league analogy to described just how deep the North West Regional Hospital has been cleaned.
Premier Peter Gutwein explained to reporters today in Hobart that the hospital, which was the source of many coronavirus infections in the Island State has been cleaned and sanitised to a level not seen outside the Sydney Roosters accounting department.
“It is the cleanest hospital in the world, it’s a clean as the Roosters’ books,” he said.
“From what I understand about the game, the Sydney Roosters are able to spend more than they’re allowed to on players through some clever accounting. Yet their books are always clean,”
“Nobody’s ever able to pin anything on them – yet. Real Melbourne Storm vibes about them. Losing premierships twenty years later and so on,”
“We have the cleanest hospital in the world now, the Roosters have the cleanest books in the world.”
The Advocate reached out to the Sydney Roosters for comment but have understandably yet to receive a reply.
