A passenger on a long-haul flight from Betoota to Singapore has had an overwhelming feeling of gratefulness this evening after one of her fellow economy passengers actually pissed in the toilet bowl rather than on the floor surrounding the toilet.
Speaking to The Advocate via the airline’s in flight wifi network, Jessie Burton explains to our reporter just how relieved she was to find a plane toilet in nearly clean condition.
“Whenever people get on a plane, they seem to forget basic rules for cleanliness”
“I was expecting to walk into cesspool but when I got in there wasn’t a single drop of wee on the floor”
“Do you know how nice that is?”
“To be able to go to a toilet on a long-haul flight and not have to dodge someone else’s pee?”
“It sounds dramatic but I’m being serious”
While it’s fantastic that Jessie can share a toilet with other adults who manage control their flow, flight attendants on the flight are more concerned about another toilet related faux pas they’ve noticed.
“Yeah, people not wearing shoes in the toilet” shares Bettina Cersave, Chief Purser on Betoota Airways flight BA652 to Singapore.
“Think about it, would you go bare foot into a public toilet? No.”
“It’s the same thing! It’s disgusting.”
