The New South Wales government has today shocked one of their biggest supporter bases by deciding to decriminalise a universally acknowledged medical procedure that helps women.
After final vote in the Lower House which the Premier missed because she had to “run the state” – a bill was passed and then reintroduced to the Lower House today.
Deep divisions in the Liberal Party have been revealed since Independent MP Alex Greenwich announced the introduction of the bill in July – with some god-bothering conservatives even attempting to pull leadership spill against Ms Berejiklian last week, but later backed down.
However, the bill passed the upper house 26 votes to 14 – showing that a vast majority of parliamentarians really aren’t too concerned about the superstitions of happy clappers.
The Catholic Archbishop of Sydney Anthony Fisher described it as a “dark day” for the state.
“The new abortion law is a defeat for humanity” said the high-ranking pastor of the institution at the centre of a Royal Commission into child sex crimes, where they were found to have harboured thousands of pedophiles and ruined the lives of tens of thousands of innocent children.
Several increasingly irrelevant former Federal cabinet ministers were approached for a predictable comments about how much this new law outrages them, but unfortunately they were busy spending a creepy amount of time thinking about Greta Thunberg.
