A considerate mate who’s trying to join the police force has just realised that it’s probably not a good idea for him to stick around much longer.
Martin Talon (25) has always been a bit of a party boy, but recently he’s made the executive decision to straighten up a bit, as he begins his training for the coppers.
But tonight, back at a mate’s house after a fuckload of beers and gambling… Martin has decided to pull the pin. Just because it’s the right thing to do.
Before he sees anything he shouldn’t see.
This comes as a couple of the boys ducked back into the kick-on after briefly going outside for some reason, which they made a point of not explaining to Marty.
“Rightoooo” says Marty quite loudly, so as to alleviate the guilt currently swallowing up his mates – while also letting them know they are off the hook.
“I’m calling it”
The boys and the girls who aren’t leaving with him are currently standing around the microwave.
They make a big deal of hugging him and telling him how good it was to see him.
“Yeah. Have a good one mate. Yeah take care. Good to see ya Marty. Yeah. Get home safe mate. Yeah see ya next weekend maybe yeah speak later. Hooroo” says the entire crowd, almost all at once.
Marty can see he’s kind of killing the mood by not leaving any sooner, so he hot foots it.
