A British game show featuring a panel of celebrities has confused viewers once again, as the host and contestants seem ultimately unconcerned about answering questions, scoring points and just playing the alleged game in general.
The quiz show titled The Cheeky Buggers Club is most known for being the show that is usually on the telly when you visit your nan, despite the fact she prefers the fella that doesn’t host the show anymore.
As viewers tuned in last night, many were under the impression the show was just a collection of British sitcom and soapie actors discussing biscuits and latent paedophiles before host Agnes Bottomly announced the final scores that she, or someone else, must have been keeping a running tally of the whole time.
“I don’t get it,” said stunned viewer Rod Caster.
“That whole time that chubby bloke was telling a story about his nan and the queen, that was for points?”
According to British TV psychologist Dr Hortensia Chapman MBE, what takes place on a British game show is ultimately undercut by the celebrities on it who are really there to tell funny stories that feature words like ‘crumpet’ or ‘fanny’ in order to beat Graham Norton in the ratings war.
“As long as we have David Mitchell or Stephen Fry to look at while we have one of our 12 evening cups of tea, everything will be fine,” stated Dr Chapman while petting her corgi.
“With the telly on, we don’t even have to speak to each other. That’s the way it is.”
