Australian entrepreneur and anti-immigration skeptic Dick Smith has today appeared on breakfast television to confront rumours about him being known to carry big things if you know what I mean.
Big Dick Energy , or BDE as it has become more commonly known over the last 12 hours, is a social media trend inspired by the death of one of Anthony Bourdain, who despite having no known sex tapes, was presumed to carrying a big slug on him – as is common with gangly white men.
The term has been applied to many ‘dark horses’ in the public arena, who constantly surprise with their different talents and specialties, leading many to believe that they might also have a big doodle.
While many people claim that the terminology has nothing to do with physical endowment, it is hard to ignore the fact that certain types of people that keep getting aligned with it, do look like they would have a big dick. Even the women, if they were men.
Speaking to Sunrise this morning, Dick Smith says he was oozing BDE well before it was a thing.
“That’s how I used to get so much media. I think the journos could literally feel the BDE” Smith told David Koch, who definitely doesn’t have BDE.
“The fact that my name was Dick probably helped to be honest”
While it is not yet known if Dick Smith would still be considered a BDE icon by modern standards, as he grows grumpier and slightly more xenophobic with each interview, it is undeniable that, back in the day, when he was getting around in a helicopter and baggy trousers tied up with a cheap leather belt – he was definitely carry a bit of piece on him.
