An alternative woman who’s been out of the dating game for several years is surprised to discover that apparently a lot of blokes are really into getting stepped on.

Having recently come out of a longterm relationship, Anna Bishop, 34 tells our reporter that she’d heard dating apps were a minefield but hadn’t expected the sheer amount of unhinged comments she’d cop as an alternative looking woman.

Bishop says she wasn’t aware that it’s now socially acceptable to greet women on dating apps that way, citing that she finds it ‘really fucking weird.’

“Yeah, yikes, what the fuck hey”, laughs Anna, showing our reporter a recent comment on one of her photos that says ‘ruin my life mummy’, “why is everyone calling me mummy?”

“Where is this coming from, I’m so confused! Is this how people talk to each other now?”

Other common comments are said to include ‘run me over with your car’, ‘ruin my life’ and ‘spit on me.’

“I forgot to add an age dealbreaker. Why are these 23 year old blokes asking me to step on them?”, Anna asks, genuinely flabbergasted.

“I don’t want to step on anyone!”

More to come.
