A Betoota Heights office was in for a rude awakening this morning, as the resident social media manager decided it was that time of the month again – taking videos of the team in to blast all over the socials.
The social media manager in question, Kaia Lu, is acutely aware the entire team hates getting roped into these videos. But as someone who’s practiced more rejection therapy than a charity mugger, Kaia has built up quite the strong hide.
She will not be deterred – even by the extremely camera shy IT team.
Shyly walking into the shared office space at roughly 9:30 am this morning as she held up her phone camera, Kaia knew she would be met with a chorus of groans as she explained what Tik Tok trend the team would be getting roped into.
“Sooo, I need to take a video for Instagram”, she said, as several colleagues quickly rolled their chairs back around and avoided all eye contact.
“Guyyys come on, it’s got to be done.”
Jarrad, the newest recruit to the account management team, makes the mistake of briefly meeting Kaia’s eyes, which means he now has no other choice but to put on his best acting chops.
“Jarrad, yay! Okay, so I need you to mouth the words “my name is pink and i’m really glad to meet you…”
