Patricia Olson (65) has shocked onlookers this afternoon after she pulled off her beanie to reveal a completely normal and almost drab hair colour. While the mousey brown public servant’s hair alone was not cause for surprise, it was the combination of her normal hair colour and her rescue greyhound that garnered attention.
“Wow.. I’ve seen some pretty incredible things but I have never seen a rescue greyhound owner with undyed hair” said one astonished woman in the crowd that had gathered around Patricia and her dog, Jessie.
According to a recent anthropological study, 99.9% of rescue greyhound owners have dyed hair; with the top colours being fluorescent orange, fire engine red, or jet black with pink or blue streaks.
When asked about her natural hair colour, Olson admitted that she did in fact dye her hair but stopped once she got Jessie.
“Her high protein diet and arthritis medication are pretty expensive, so I had to cut back somewhere.”
Jessie’s diet consists of poached RSPCA approved chicken breast, brown rice, and an egg – which Olson believes she loves. However, upon speaking with Jessie through a pet psychic, The Advocate can reveal that couldn’t be further from the truth.
“My name isn’t Jessie, it’s Buckley’s Revenge and I was a celebrated hound in my day. Sure I am grateful to Patty for saving me from a mass grave, but god what I wouldn’t do to chase down a rabbit and maim it within an inch of its life. Then eat it.”
Jessie (née Buckley’s Revenge) went on to say more but the pet psychic was too disturbed to pass on the apparent gory detail.
