As the Australian government hurtles towards its ‘world leading Skibidi Rizz’ social media ban for under 16s, the nation is still wondering how it’s all going to work, it can be confirmed today.

With the big ticket item now just a full blown World War away, questions are still being raised around the breadth and efficacy of this blanket ban on kids using social media.

With scarce details around how exactly a country that fucks up an online census plans to physically age gate social media, it’s also been questioned on how the biggest platform for Under 16s has just been let off the hook.

Despite being the most used platform for teenagers in the brain rot generation, YouTube is currently still off the naughty list – regardless of the warnings from the eSafety Commissioner.

Ange Wilson, a local mother of two pungent smelling little teenage boys who repeatedly spout gibberish phrases she’s never heard before, spoke to The Advocate today about her confusion with the significant decision.

“Ummmm, let’s put aside my scepticism of whether it’s possible to keep these little shits from accessing something they’ve been told they can’t have,” she laughed.

“I’m sure they’ve never watched porn because of the Over 18 button on the websites…”

“And not go near how they’ll be able to find a work around before you manage to make it through even one brain rot video.”

“How the hell is YouTube not on the list of banned platforms?”

“So they can’t go on snapchat, but they can get caught in Andrew Tate style algorithms, watch South Auckland’s greatest street fights and interact with faceless could be pedo accounts in the comment section.”

“Not really sure how that works.”

Wilson’s comments come hours after the eSafety commissioner slammed the government for not including YT in the ban, arguing it is the platform doing the greatest amount of harm to kids.

Speaking on that Wilson, said she tended to agree.

“Sure there is educational content on there, but there’s educational content on the lids of VB stubbies, should I be giving them to my 12 year old?”

“I’m pretty happy for them to read a book, or watch some documentaries on a major streaming platform if they want to get an education.”

“So yeah, I would love to know how the government thinks it’s fine to just leave YouTube out of this ban.”

“Bit of a head scratcher ya know.”
