It’s being reported that local electronic vehicle dealerships are struggling with business because they are yet to utilise a secret weapon – the inflatable tube man.

With the EV transition in full swing, entrepreneurs around the country have scrambled to set up EV dealerships along the fringes of our capital cities, but business is yet it take off.

Many have pointed towards the distinct lack of inflatable tube men bending in the wind out front.

“Oh, that’s a car yard? I thought it was a car park?? Where’s the inflatable tube man??”, said one confused onlooker questioned outside the EV dealership.

Industry insiders say the oversight could be costing dealerships thousands in missed foot traffic into their stores.

“It’s literally rule 1 of having a car dealership”, said one seasoned car yard veteran, pointing to a flailing inflatable tube man outside of his store.

“It doesn’t matter how good your deals are, what matters is the inflatable tube man”

Several EV dealers have now reportedly ordered shipments of tube men in bulk, hoping to reverse the perception that their lots are out of touch with the common man and lacking the working mans favourite car dealership attraction.

With sales still not taking off as imagined, many in the industry now see the inflatable tube man as a necessary step toward increasing visibility and drawing in customers.
