A rogue market stall outside a Uni that has been handing out brochures that offer an action packed paintball experience for the last 8 years, hasn’t managed to convince a single person to sign up.

The stall, which represents a paintball company 5 hours north of the city its operating in, has become a staple at the entrance of a local university in the city.

Interestingly, the paintball stall still thinks it has a chance to convert someone into a paying customer.

“We know one day one of these uni kids is going to fall for our “free paintball experience but the pellets are $40 a canister” traps” explained Yohan Borgan (27), a Danish backpacker who got the job through a dodgy hostel flyer that promised the gig was to be a “paintball instructor”.

Despite his initial disappointment, Yohan says he’s grown fond of the rejection.

“I’ve learned a lot about myself at this job — mostly that students don’t want to travel five hours up the coast to do paintball on a whim”

“Most students now instinctively cross the road or pretend to take a call when approaching the stall.”

At this point, the stall has become more of a campus landmark than a legitimate business operation.

“I’ve been told that our stall has become a common meeting place for a lot of people, so that’s something to be proud of I guess”

Yohan remains hopeful, claiming that “any day now” someone will finally sign up for a day of paintballing.
