The incredibly United States of America have today taken time out of their busy day, to fire a metaphorical shot at one of its closest allies.
Days after it fired literal shots at a reporter and cameraman from one of its closest allies, the US has condemned Australia for sanctioning two Israeli politicians.
Australia has joined a 4 other countries in sanctioning a couple of controversial politicians for their comments – not their part in committing genocide on the tiny rubble strewn region of Gaza.
The sanctions on two of the government responsible for bombing and starving of the Palestinian people has of course caused a stir with the Israel.
It has also caused a stir with the United States, Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemning the move.
While the rest of his country watches LA descend into a state of chaos as a result of the President’s move to start deporting people from the state, Rubio apparently has time to have a crack at Australia.
“Yeah forget the fact our country is currently imploding,” laughed Rubio in an exclusive interview with The Advocate.
“Rather than focus on the fourth biggest economy in the world descending into violence and chaos as the President orders in the National Guard, we want to talk about Australia putting tiny sanctions on a tiny percentage of the Israeli government.”
