Former Prime Minister Scott Morrison is today basking in the glow of the country’s highest honour.

The man who steadfastly steered us through the chapter of our history known as the pandemic, was this weekend honoured with the Order of Australia.

Well, 5 of them to be exact.

The 30th prime minister has been appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) for his “eminent service” to the country and direction of the national COVID response, as part of the King’s Birthday honours.

However, rather than just give him one AC, Morrison has been awarded 5, for each of the ministry’s he stole during their pandemic in an extremely weird authoritarian power grab that is yet to really be explained.

It’s the first instance in the history of the country that multiple AC’s have been awarded to a recipient, in recognition of the incredible work behind the scenes to appoint himself as minister of multiple portfolios.

Those secret ministries coupled with his failure to order enough jabs, ‘just losing; tens of billions of dollars in Covid spending and starting a fight with our biggest trading partner and global super power during the middle of an economic crisis were just some of the reasons Morrison has been bestowed the great honour.

The award was handed out over the weekend to the man who now works in the defence industry (after securing a 360 billion dollars submarine deal and a huge defence partnership with the two biggest manufacturers of weapons in the world (America and the UK) – in a touching display of thanks for his service.

Morrison declined to comment to The Advocate about the honour, but sources close to the man say he plans to title himself Scott Morrison (AC)(AC)(AC)(AC)(AC)(AC).

More to come.
