Chinese swimmer Sun Yang has this week confirmed that he’s firing on all cylinders ahead of the much hyped Enhanced Games.

Long hypothesised by contrarians around the world, the Enhanced Games is a new competition that allows competitors to take whatever shit they want.

That’s led to it being branded the ‘Steroid Olympics’ by some, and has seen Australian swimmer James ‘The MOAB (nee Missile)’ Magnussen transformed into a Rugby League second rower in pursuit of Enhanced Gold.

It’s also seen Gold medal winner Sun Yang start to peak, after over a decade of preparation.

The Chinese Swimmer has had a controversial past, winning a swag of Olympic Gold, but racking up suspensions for breaching anti-doping rules and regulations.

In 2012, Sun became the first Chinese athlete to win an Olympic gold medal in men’s swimming.

Sun is the first male swimmer in history to earn Olympic and World Championship gold medals at every freestyle distance from 200 to 1500 metres.

A three-time Olympic gold medalist and eleven-time world champion, he is the most decorated Chinese swimmer in history.

He was also banned for 3 months in 2014 (in what many described as a very lenient sentence) by WADA for a banned substance.

And again in 2020 for another doping incident which saw him handed an 8 year ban, which was then reduced to four years.

However, now Yang has clear air to go for gold without any of these pesky anti-doping people lurking around.

More to come.
