The country’s primary regional political party has today taken a big step forward in its journey of self-discovery.
The Nationals have reportedly booked a spontaneous motorbike trip of South East Asia after coming out of a messy long term relationship.
In a bombshell announcement yesterday, the Nationals and Liberal revealed that they are ending their Coalition agreement, and taking some time apart.
The massive news follows nearly a century long relationship for the high-school sweethearts.
The uncoupling has sent shockwaves around town, with the loved up pair now calling it a day, for now.
Sources close to the pair believe that they may get back together down the track, meaning the custody battle for One Nation has been put off for now.
In the mean time, the Nationals have told work they are packing it in and heading off for a bit of a reset.
“Nup fuck em, need to get out of town for a bit,” said the Nats today.
“So just bought a bike and gonna cruise down through Vietnam, across Cambodia and then into Thailand.”
“Finish up at one of those Full Moon parties.”
“And if love finds me along the way so be it.”
“But I need to find myself first.”
More to come.
