YOU’RE THE BEST PERSON I’VE EVER MET: A local woman is today questioning if the bloke she’s been dating for the past three weeks is a little too good to be true, having picked up on some behaviour that might signal love bombing.

A former romantic, Amelia Gray, 30, tells our reporter that it’s quite sad she now views excessive flattery with suspicion, having been burnt by a few lover boys in the past.

However, despite copping some major red flags, there’s still a small part of Amelia that wonders if this bloke really is falling head over heels for her that quickly, because she really is just that awesome.

“He told me that he feels like our souls are entwined, and that he could see himself marrying me because I’m the most wonderful person he’s ever met”, says Amelia, “which is really nice, but we’ve only been on two dates so I’m a bit worried.”

“But then again, maybe he’s being genuine and I’m allowing past experiences to make me cynical? Is it really that wild to think a man could fall head over heels for me immediately?”

“Can’t a girl have a bit of whimsy in her life?”

More to come.
