A local bloke has this week unwittingly found himself switching to some sugar free alcoholic drinks, after his girlfriend went rogue at the bottle shop, it’s reported.
Much like the time he also somehow found himself on his girlfriend’s paleo diet, Evan Campbell [27], tells our reporter that a simple request to grab some grog saw him trying some Woodstock Original Zero Sugar Cola’s for the first time, which he admits has not been his usual go to drink.
But unlike the time Lisa ordered a weird egg pizza, Evan was pleasantly surprised by the switch.
“When Lisa’s sugar free, I’m sugar free”, he explains.
“It’s been a tough couple of weeks, as she’s always been a bit of a sweet tooth.”
“It’s almost as bad as the time she decided to go cold turkey on caffeine.”
“So instead of my usual Woodies, she got me the zero sugar ones.”
“But they’re actually pretty decent!”
Letting out a small sigh, Evan says he’s unsure what wormhole Lisa will go down next but he’s scared nonetheless.
“As long as she leaves bacon alone.”
