A young woman from our trendiest suburb has today been praised for an incredible display of self control.
French Quarter local Bethine Best (27) has won plenty of fans after somehow managing to wait an entire week before stealing her boyfriend’s new hoodie.
The incredible move is believed to be a new record around town, eclipsing the previous one held by Elyse who works at Clip and Snip Hairdressing on Croissant Street.
The hoodie in question is reportedly a fresh new bit of kit from her boyfriend’s favourite drink brand, Minus 196.
“He loves those Japanese Tins,” laughed Bethine, who is also known for acquiring her boyfriend’s tins on a night out.
The alleged theft of the new bit of Double Lemon merchandise comes roughly 6 months after she ‘borrowed’ his Betoota Dolphins Hoodie and never seemed to give it back.
Already working up some thumb holes in the sleeve cuffs, Bethine told The Advocate that hoodie theft is just par for the course.
“If you wanna be my lover,” she laughed.
“You have gotta get with my hoodie stealing habits.”
“That’s the way it is.”
“Hehe. Sorry not sorry,” laughed the local petty thief.
“He always steals my expensive shampoos and body washes by the way.”
