A fresh Midori Illusion is being cracked on the back porch of a Currumbin home this evening as a Hollywood megastar finally gets a night off to breathe.
The Advocate can report proud Queensland girl Margot Robbie, the Duchess of Dalby, has tonight decided to soak up the sun setting over the Gold Coast hinterland.
Having participated in a gruelling global press tour that appeared to land in 50 of the biggest cities around the world, it’s understood Margot has quietly returned back to the Goldy to ‘just chill a bit’ and enjoy a few weeks off.
Hungry for a slice of home comforts, it’s believed Margot has this week gone back to her roots by drinking the odd Midori RTD in a pair of winter uggs.
“Mate I’m rooted!” Margot told The Advocate as she carved a hunk of Mersey Valley cheese and slathered it onto a Jatz cracker.
“Paris, New York, Mumbai and London, it just didn’t stop. Me and Ryan have been in so many airports this month when I took the escalators into Pacific Fair shopping centre the other night I got rattled.”
Asked how she was going to enjoy her break before returning to LA to jump onto another award winning blockbuster film, Margot said she was happy to chill for a while.
“I’m just gonna chill, I’ve got a friend’s engagement party next weekend at the Burleigh Pav so I’ve got to go buy some presents, I might get them a nice candle from Dusk?”
“Other than that, I think I’ll just rejuvenate, slip down to Byron for a day spa treatment or two? It’s just a nice part of the world to park up and do very little, hey?”
