A Betoota employer feels like he just can’t win after learning AI writing software ChatGTP would also prefer to work remotely.

For anyone who works with words, the idea that a bit of code might take your writing job is terrifying even if you might deserve it after six years earning money is an occasionally hacky but overall nationally approved internet bully.

With the potential for writing bots to take their job, speech writers, authors, journalists and “journalists” are trying to beat the machine with the passionate futility of Detroit automotive workers in 1960.

However, bosses like Old City District CEO Raymond Killhead (62) are not so quick to replace their staff with a lazy robot who refuses to show their face in the office.

“When [I] first heard that there was an app that could write all your copy for free, you bet I was ready to march down to second and tell my copywriters their mum would be paying for their oat milk again,” stated Killhead who has already replaced his receptionist with a QR code and his wife with a VR headset.

“But turns out this ChatGP [sic] only wants to work via the internet and I’m having a hard time getting the lazy sods I actually pay back in the office so no thank you.”

“So I’ve told the copywriters it’s either come in for a regular eight hour day, 8am til 6pm, or get replaced by ChatterPG [sic]. I mean, they’re getting the chop eventually, the thing is free for fuck’s sake but it’s really a better experience for everyone to get let go face to face don’t you reckon?”

MORE TO COME.
