A young woman from Betoota’s Flight Path District has today shocked our regional metropolis.
The 3rd-year medical student at our prestigious South Betoota Polytechnic University some how managed to make it through an entire conversation without bringing up how long she has to go in her degree.
And, on top of that, young Britney Williams even avoided talking about the fact she is studying medicine at all.
“I kind of didn’t realise how momentous the occasion was at the time,” laughed her friend Amber.
“But as we were saying goodbye, I realised she hadn’t even brought it up once.”
The incredible achievement from Britney comes after years of finding away to weave her studies and future profession into every single conversation she has.
“Maybe she’s realising that we just want her to be happy no matter what she is studying?” said her friend Amber.
“And we know that she’s already achieved more than all of her friends and family.”
As a result of the incredible display of self restraint Britney has been nominated for a local community award.
She was contacted for comment on the incident but refused to speak, just in case she was unable to bring up her studies within the first minute of conversation.
More to come.
