A local sometimes cocaine, mostly ice, dealer has made it pretty clear that he strongly admires the main protagonist of the 1983 American gangster movie, Scarface.

Arty ‘Party’ Princeton (24) has only been ’bout that life for a couple years now, but even people who don’t buy drugs from him are aware of his drug dealer status.

Mainly due to the fact that he constantly has a cigarettes over his ear, wears a lot of gold jewellery and drives a matte black early model BMW M3.

And for those who weren’t 100% certain of his criminal status, it’s also quote obvious that he idolises the famous film’s lead character, Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino.

He does through a Scarface-themed phone case, several posters in his living room, a Tony Montana tattoo on his shoulder and the personalised number plate WDIZURZ – which roughly translates to ‘The World Is Yours’ – a popular tagline associated with the iconic fictional Cuban-American drug dealer.

However, for most film buffs, Party Arty’s hero worship of the problematic, volatile and unpredictable character of Tony Montana appears to be at odds with his chosen vocation.

As someone who’s entire modus operandi is to avoid getting captured by the police, killed by rival drug dealers, doing the drugs himself, or burning his supplier – it appears strange that Party would look up to Tony Montana.

The fact that Al Pacino’s character ends up being shot over 65 times in the middle of a cocaine binge on his own product, suggests that he wasn’t a very good drug dealer in the end.

The fact that Party may not have seen the entire film is worth considering given he does not have the attention span to listen to an entire 6IX9INE song without changing playlists back to G-UNIT, let alone the patience to watch an entire three-hour motion picture.

Close friends and customers say that perhaps Party Arty has only sat through the first hour or so, which mostly deals with all the cool stuff that can come with drug dealing – like the money, and then the power, and then the women.
